How We Started

My name is Phil Nelson. While Xtreme Effects originally started with firearm repairs, our true origin was my 16th birthday when I received my first gun. I’ve been hooked on guns and the shooting community ever since. I’ve even enjoyed doing some competitive shooting and hunting over the years. There’s a ton of bad information out there about guns so I started looking for the best information several years ago. That search led down some very interesting technical rabbit holes. I've been able to meet some amazing people in the industry and take a couple high level armorer classes as a result of the people I’ve met and have had the honor of making amazing friends and connections in the industry. I’m always looking for ways to improve what I do as far as repair’s, building, and passing knowledge onto others through Xtreme Effects.
